Cyber incidents are fast moving and increasing in number and severity in Uganda and all over the world. However, many organizations have failed to successfully investigate and prosecute suspects due to lack of capacity in digital forensics and can therefore not recover losses. Digital forensics helps to identify, preserve, analyze and present digital evidence in a manner that is legally acceptable in any legal proceedings.
In line with this, The Institute of Forensics & ICT Security has organized a 5 days digital forensics training:
When: 14th – 18th May 2018 (8:00am – 4:00pm)
Where: Institute of Forensics and ICT Security located on 4th floor Ntinda Complex, Plot 33, Ntinda road (Opp. St. Luke Church)
Why: Come and acquire practical skills on how to identify, collect, and preserve digital evidence with an emphasis on evidence collected from the Windows operating system
Fee: Ugx 2,000,000 per person inclusive of refreshments.
The training shall be facilitated by top cyber and digital forensics experts with clear case studies and experience sharing. Please book in advance as our classes are limited to 15 persons only.
